...and you are happy for the recipient to receive just a proof so they can sort out the finer details later - simply tick the appropiate box on the Order Form to receive a special matched greetings card. You can then add your own personal message. The card itself is of such a nature that it could be put in an A5 or A4 frame (with a new mount) later and be a momento in its own right.
This takes the worry out of whether you have all the correct information to obtain an accurate portrait, also whether the final print; as parcel post will arrive on time, whether someone will be at home to receive it without goving the game away and spoil the surprise and what frame if any you should buy.
How it works
Within a few days of posting your cheque and completed out 0rder Form* (to the best of the knowledge of the car in question) you should receive an A3 (folded to A5) proof and a matched greetings card. You'll need to write in your own message to your friend or loved one that it is intended for and place in a fresh C5 envelope or suitable wrapping paper. The recipient can check out any details to obtain a really accurate portrait later (the cards are not specific eg. for Christmas or birthday), but please persuade them not to leave it too long before doing this as it so much better when it is still 'fresh in the system'.
