These two were great fun to do. It was so satisfying to be able to revive someone's old memories of those halcyon days of motoring from just a black and white photograph and someone’s memory of the colour scheme.

Both models had previously been measured up, photographed, researched and drawn and so could be adapted to create the images below.

 The MGA coupe had an unusual colour scheme. On first appearance it looked like a roadster with a white hard top but it was in fact a two tone coupé. Wheel trims were unusual too, perhaps after-market Ace wheel trims? Coincidentally around about the same time I spotted a set on an auto jumble stand which I had taken a snap of.

The Riley was a surprise gift from someone with just memories of the car and a photograph.
